Bryan's had a holiday party on saterday held at the Zoo. It was a nice change to dress up and go out. It was a long night, but it was nice to get out. They always have a chance to win the centre peices. They put a card under the seat at every table and whoever sits there gets the centre piece... and we won it. They also give you tickets when you come in for a chance to win door prizes. We won one of them and lucky us it was another centre peice.. so we have two and they're both red which doesnt match our house. But it's always nice winning something. Everyone always gets a $50.00 gift card so now we have a free $100.00 to spend.. i'm excited. As well this year they gave another present to all the woman, which was these super cool slinky necklaces.. they had gold, silver and a gold & silver one.. i picked silver and thought i'd find them and buy another. These necklaces are soo cool you can form them and shape them however.. tie them in a knot. I found out they are not from Canada so i'm a little sad. Here are a few pictures..

Banff

I have a fascination with the snow on trees.

Over the Christmas break Mom, Dad, Bryan and I spent a day in Banff. We looked through some stores (even though it was freezing out). Than we drove around looking at the beautiful Mountains, as I would jump out of the truck to take some scenery photos. Than we went to the Hot Springs and spent a while in there. It was funny to see all the ice forming on everyone's hair.. especially Mom's. Her woosh was completely white with ice. Dad got in trouble while we were there.. he crossed the rope to roll in the snow, and the life guard got mad at him. It was pretty funny. After our soak, we went to dinner at Earls. Then headed home. It was a really fun day and it was SO nice to get to play with my camera !

Twilight Series

So of course their was a huge fuss about the twilight movie that came out.. and about the series. Well I wasn't really interested in reading the books since Vampires etc isn't really my type of books.. but then I was told that it was really good even if it's not your thing. So I asked for the books for Christmas.. and I got the first two books ( Twilight, New Moon). I started reading the first and I couldn't put it down. It was SO good. I finished the first book within a couple days and started on the second book. They really are good, exciting and really cute.. in a weird way... And fun to read. So now I'm just starting the third book ( Eclipse) I hope it's a good one too. I would definitely recommend these books. So when you see them.. buy them, or borrow them .. it's worth it.

Christmas # 2 at Bryan's Parents

After breakfast we headed over to Bryan's mom and dad's. They had already done all the yucky part of the turcky.. so luckily I didn't have to help with that part :) We opened presents, and hung out. Helped a tiny little bit with dinner.. i did however stir the gravey for Forever !! Dinner was yummy, but it felt like it took forever to get eating lol. After we played the Scene it buzz game on Bryce's XBOX he brought over... i'm not really good at that game.. so I just watched for most of it. It started to get pretty compeditive for a bit... was kinda funny. Was a great Christmas !

After we got home from Mom and Dad's we had our traditional last present ( pajamas) to open. In the morning we opened our stalkings.. which btw I got some Taylor Swift Tickets.. YAY !! than we got ready.. than headed to mom and dad's for Christmas Breakfast. (which we made for everyone there) Afterwards to headed to Bryan's parents for Chirstmas # 2 !!
