Just Playing

Lindsey, Corbin & Coleson stayed with us for a week while they were visiting, we had lots of fun playing with the boys and watching them play. It was especially cute watching the boys play outside in the sprinkler.. our water here is defiantly colder than the water in Vegas. Corbin had so much fun in the water but was SO cold.

Oh and have I mention just how much I LOVE these Boys! They are just the cutest darn kids ever!! So glad we had a chance to get to know them. Corbin is a wild little man that loves to play and play and have fun while Coleson is just a sweet little cuddle bug that loves to copy everything his big brother does.

The Zoo

While Lindsey, Corbin, & Coleson were up visiting I had a chance to go to the zoo with them, Crystal, Easton & Ireland. We ended up going on the hottest day of the summer, It sure was nice having the heat and would have been nicer if it stayed for longer though. We had lots of fun seeing all the animals and watching the kids reactions. We stopped to play at the park and have a snack and this Peacock was wondering around our table. It ended up coming right up to us and eating our cheese and crackers, it even went under our table. It was really neat but also freaky it being that close.. you just never know what it will do. The kids rode the carousal and had a blast, we eat ice cream, Coleson wore his ice cream - So Cute!! It was a really fun day. Oh on our way out we went to the dinosaurs.. and wow, they sure are alive. The big huge T-Rex takes you by surprise when it starts moving and roaring. It had been so long since I'd been to the zoo so I forgot about the new dinosaurs. They are pretty neat, and feel really real to - perhaps a bit to scary for the little ones though.

Wok Box

You know how in the movies the people always eat Chinese Food from those cute boxes, but I've never known where to get them from. Until... Wok Box opened up here.. So a couple weeks ago Bryan and I decided to try it out, and walla! That's where you can get the cute boxes from. The food wasn't to bad either, rather expensive, but I think I'd go back. Especially just to eat out of the boxes.

Camping 2010

A couple weeks ago we took Bryan's younger brother Braydon and his friend Ryan camping with us. We went out on Thursday afternoon to the Kananaskis till Saturday. Sadly as soon as we got our campsite it started to rain, so we quickly set up the tents and tarps. Of course it rained just enough to soak everything, then it stoped as soon as we finished with the tents. That night was kinda hard to get a fire going with wet wood, and that night was also SO cold we were all freezing. Friday was a little warmer, we went to upper lake and hung out at the campsite. Saterday was really sunny and warm, we went for a walk, then to lower lake for a while before we left. It was pretty fun, could have done with some warmer weather and warmer nights. The boys liked building the fire and chopping wood. I didn't realize how much work camping is when your the one packing everything, making sure your not missed anything, and then all the work while camping, like the set up, cooking, cleaning etc. So thanks Mom & Dad... I never realized how much work you guys put into camping.
