Baby Ulrich's Room

These past couple months we have been getting the room ready for our little guy, and we did a couple projects ourselves to make everything just the way we wanted. Bryan made the guitar above the shelving unit. I made the blocks that say "Rock Star", and we painted the letter for his name.. which at the moment is blacked out. We had a lot of fun doing up his room, and CAN'T wait to bring him home. As of right now there are no pictures in all the frames hanging up, but soon there will be. We figured we might at well hang the frames now, since more than likely we wouldn't get around to it once he is here.
We also made his a little onesie with his first name on the front, and last name on the back, which he will more than likely be brought home in.. so pictures to come soon... Hopefully!

Easton & Irelands Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago the weather was gorgeous so we had Easton & Ireland's birthday party at the park in Calgary. Easton turned 6 and Ireland turned 5. We had smokies/hot dogs, chips, pop, salad and of course Birthday cake. It was a good time. The kids had fun, and got to play at the park, open presents and have cake all at once. Thanks for inviting us to your party.

My 23rd Birthday!

I know this was a long while ago now, but I figured I should put it up anyways. For my Birthday Bryan planned a surprise birthday party for me on the Friday before my birthday. I had absolutely no clue, and was very shocked to come home to a bunch of people and decorations. It was only afterwards that things actually make sense, like him cleaning the house after work on Friday, and wanting to go look at a bunch of things before going home, and then having to stop at the store to use the bathroom because he had to pee really bad... That should have been a big give away since he NEVER has to pee so bad that it can't wait till we get home. But either way it was really fun, we had pizza, pop, chips, and all sorts of cakes for desert. Thanks to everyone who came and made me feel so special :)
On my actual birthday we watched conference, then went for a walk/hike to Big Hill Springs park (which was very hard with 3 feet of snow and a huge belly.. but a good work out). Then we went to mom and dads for dinner, I choose chicken wings, corn on the cob, garlic bread, for dinner and then some white cake for desert. Then I opened my present and just hung out. It was a fantastic birthday!

Guitar
So we all saw my sewing project, well this is Bryan's project for the baby. We had bought a wall hanging guitar for the baby's room and we decided we needed another one, but the store didn't sell anymore, plus it was rather expensive. So we figured we could just make our own, the total spent was under $20.00, and the store bought one was about $80.00. Bryan did a really great job. I don't have a picture of the finished product, but you will see it in the pictures of his finishing baby room once we get it all done. Calgary Roughnecks Games
After they beat Edmonton :)
Face off - who knew they do this after every goal... I learned so much..
A couple weeks ago Bryan and I went to two Roughnecks games. It was my first time watching a Lacrosse game, and it was actually pretty good. The first game, one of Bryan's friends from work had season tickets, so she let us use them and her parking pass as well, and the seats were super good, we were about five rows away from the field, so it was allot easier for me to pay attention. The second game we went to our seats were also free, courtesy of another friend of Bryan's from work who is on the Roughnecks and one of their star players. They won both games so its always nice cheering for a winning team.
