4th Year Anniversary

On May 3rd we celebrated our 4th Anniversary, I still can't believe how fast time seems to pass. We went out for dinner to an Indian restaurant which was SO yummy, we even got a dessert for free cos it was the owners anniversary that day too. The next day we went for pedicures and manicures, afterwards we were suppose to go for a massage, but our massages got cancelled so we rescheduled for the following week. All in all our Anniversary celebration was great! It's crazy to think how much our lives have changed in just 4 years, and how much our love has grown. I love our life together and so thankful for all we have and share. I love you Bryan so much! Happy 4 years married, and I'm looking forward to eternity to come.

Legacy's First Hair Cut

Legacy has needed a hair cut for a long while now, so finally I got around to attempting to cut his hair. Allot harder than I thought it would be, he wouldn't sit still. As soon as he saw the scissors he wanted to grab them. Anyways here are a couple pictures.. I think I'll stick to cutting Bryan's hair.

April

It's been a while since I last updated so I'll start with April;
-April was a busy but fun month for us. We started off the month by celebrating my 24th birthday, Bryan took me out to buy some shoes then out to dinner, then on Sunday I had birthday dinner and cake at mom and dads (which happened to be Easter Sunday too)
- We celebrated Legacy's first Easter.. he woke up to a basket full of candy (mostly candy for Daddy), he got a new ball, a stuffed animal chick, bunny ears, and a little chocolate bunny in a cage. We went to church and had a really lovely Easter program, then spent the rest of the day at Mom & Dads with the family.
-Jesse, Lindsey, Corbin and Coleson came up for a visit and got to celebrate Easter with us too. While they were up we were able to do family pictures, go to the Tyrell Dinosaur museum in Drumheller, go to the science centre, and also just play and hang out. Legacy just LOVED his cousins, and got to play a little bit with them. We are very happy they came up but sad it was such a short stay. Hopefully we can see them again soon...
-We took a short little getaway to Banff  for Friday/ Saturday near the end of April. The little hotel suite we had was pretty cozy, but it was a super good price and wasn't to bad. We went to dinner, played in the hotel pool, then tried to sleep while Legacy tossed and turned almost all night. Saturday we walked around and looked in the many shops, had lunch, then went to the hot springs before we headed home. Legacy did SO good even with his restless sleep. It was really nice to get away even for the short while.

-That same weekend we went to Grandma & Grandpa Ulrich house and Legacy tried ribs for the first time and loved them, and also played in the hot tub (our little fish loves being in the water).

That pretty much sums up our month... not including the many hours playing at home, the many walks to the park, and all the mundane day to day stuff.

Hedley Concert

For Christmas I bought Bryan concert tickets for Hedley and the show wasn't till mid March. It was a really great concert and a nice date for us. However I did feel super old with all the young teeny boppers. But Hedley was awesome and since we got in late Bryan took the next day off work so we got to have a family day :)

New Floor

A couple weeks back we tore up our carpet and laid down floating laminate flooring. It was a really long weekend but with the help of Bryans's dad we managed to get it all laid and it looks really nice. We still need to get a bit of trim for around the cupboards but we are really happy with it. Legacy likes playing on it two because he can slide his toys much better on it.

Baby Race

Deer foot mall was having a baby crawl race and we registered Legacy into it since he is super fast. We were sure he would win. Unfortunately he choked at the start line, he was ready to go when we put him down but then some people in his heat took forever to get their kid in the right spot, and so by the time they said "Go" he was done with it and just wanted to be held. We still think he's a winner :)

St.Patricks Day

For St. Patricks day I wanted to make a traditional Irish dish so I made corned beef and cabbage. It actually was simple to make and turned out really yummy. We invited Ranger Lee and & Gabriela over for dinner. For desert I made a leprechaun desert (green pudding, whip cream, sprinkles and an oreo.. with some surprise chocolate coins in the bottom). I'm super excited for when Legacy is older and we can do some fun St. Patricks day crafts.
