Newell Lake

One weekend in August Bryan, Legacy, Ranger Lee, Gabriela and I took a day trip to Newell Lake which is just past Brooks (so it was a little ways away). The lake was actually not to bad, would have been nice if we had a boat or seadoos, but it was also fun just playing in the water. Legacy did really well too.. he went in the lake a couple times (just his legs), for the most part he cried but after a while he actually started smiling. We had a really nice time and wouldn't mind going back some day... perhaps when Legacy can really play in the water and sand.

Railroad Photo Shoot

Gabriela and I went out to the railroad to take some pictures of Legacy. The plan was to go to a few locations but it was just so Hot out and Legacy was definitely done being our model. They turned out So cute and I can't wait till he can hold his head up better and sit up. This little boy is going to be so sick of getting his picture taken. But I just can't help it.. I get so many ideas and he's just so adorable.

Almost every day for me begins with taking pictures of Legacy. I seriously can't get enough of this little boy. He has me wrapped around his finger so tight.. I don't know what I would do without him. And I seriously have a million pictures of him and it's always so hard to choose which to post.

Thumb Sucking

Legacy found his thumb on August 23 (by accident), but soon figured out how much he liked it. He's not so much a fan of soothers but his thumb he definitely does. Hopefully we can kick that habit (even though it's so darn cute).

Auntie Gabriela & Uncle Ranger Lee's Birthdays

We celebrated both Gabriela and & Ranger Lee's birthday together. We had their choice of dinner which was ribs, macaroni salad, tortilla chips with avocado dip, with ice cream cake and homemade cake that Gabriela made. It was a fun Sunday.

Cousins

A couple weekends ago Tracy and her kids came to visit. Legacy got to meet his second and third cousins, including Travon who is only a couple months older than him. The kids played outside spraying each other with the hose (which Bryan showed them to do). It was so nice to catch up with Tracy and see her kids.
