Ranger Lee comes home!!

Monday December 10th was the most anticipated day of my life. Ranger Lee's plane wasnt in till late at night around 9pm. And all weekend we had spent building a room for him and getting everything ready. Including cleaning the house and carpet- as if he wouldnt stay if the house wasnt perfect. But at least it kept us busy for the most part. However in those last hours before we left for the airport it felt like 9:00 would never come. Luckily for us it did come. But then waiting for him to get off the plane is a whole other storey. We kept moving closer and closer to the doors as people would come out of customs. Then finally he came. I tried to bite my urge to run and hug him.. - didn't want to scare him or anything. But I was the first one to hug him. It's been nice having him home though- Weird but good

Christmas Party

Late November Bryan and I went to his company Christmas party. Bryan's Mom and Dad, and brother Bryce and his girlfriend Ali also went. So it was nice for me since I didn't really know anyone else there. This was year number two at the party. It was pretty fun, we both bought new outfits for it. We sorta looked like we should be on dancing with the stars- with my shimmery dress and his hat and suspenders. It was nice to get out and dress all fancy for a change.

Not really sure

S0o0o i noticed everyone always has their slide shows in their blogs..
and i always want to but i really dont know how to make the slide a part of my blog. So i always just put it as an extra at the top. But if someone could explain how on earth to put slide shows in with my blog postings.. that would be GREATT!! and very helpful.

Preference Dance

This past friday night Crystal, Ryan, Bryan and I all went to the black and white singles preference dance. Crystal and I both went and bought new formal gowns to wear. Only to get to the dance and see that most people were only in semi formal rather than formal wear. But that's okay we had fun getting all dolled up! Before the dance Ryan made up all a yummy supper, then we went to the dance. At frist it was a little lame and empty but then it started to fill up. This was my very first young adult dance. I think I like them, I had lots of fun dancing with Bryan. And it looked like everyone else had fun too !

Bryan's New Love

Not even a week after Bryan's car accident he was out and about looking for a new car. He got lucky and found a really nice car for not so expensive/not so cheap. He had a couple cars on his list to take a look at, and the first one was the Saturn Ion Coupe. He really liked the car, and it was one of the few left, so he decided to take it. Its a Silver 2007 Saturn Ion 3 Coupe. Bryan really wanted a two door sporty car, but since in the future we'd like to have children he decided he'd compromise with suicide doors in the back. Bryan really loved his first car, but I think he loves this car even more.

Bryan's Car Accident

Last night around 930pm Bryan was heading home from hanging out at my house, heading south on deerfoot. He had just finished the merge- doing the speed limit, when he came up on a car in the right lane who was only doing 80 km. By the time Bryan realized the guy was going to slow, he tried to swerve out of the way, but didn't make it in time. Bryan spun around a couple times and both cars ended up in the ditch, just over a cliff, 100 metres from the road. Bryan was okay, his air bags went off and more than likley saved his life, although he's a little sore today. The other driver seems to be okay, he sat in the ambulance for a while, then went to the hospital. Hopefully he will be okay aswell. More than anything Bryan is upset his first car, which he loved is written off. Technically the accident was Bryan's fault, however the other driver was in the wrong, he said he was setting his cruise control to 80km, for the construction which started 20 km up the road.

Over all we're glad Bryan is alive and okay, cars can be replaced but people can't!
On a happy note- Bryan's already started new car shopping.

Grandpa's 95th + Thanksgiving

October 7th 2007
Last Sunday the Falk family took a little road trip to Lethbridge for the day. We left early Sunday to Uncle Harvey and Aunty Wendy's to celebrate Grandpa's 95th Birthday. We had thanksgiving dinner the same time aswell, then some pie and as a bonus cake too. Aunty Wendy made a really yummy chocolate cake with caramel and peacans in the middle, i'll post up the recipie it was soo good. After visiting for a while we headed on home, but it was a fun little trip. It was good to see everyone especially the man of the hour Grandpa - he's doing great, he's looking real healthy so thats good.

Our visit to Cardston

Just this Saterday Bryan and I took a drive down to Cardston for our friends wedding. We got in a bit early so we cruised the town of Cardston, which didn't take long at all. Grabbed a bite to eat and headed to the temple to walk around it and take some pictures. I haven't been there in so long I almost forgot just how Beautiful it is. After enjoying the wedding, it was pretty late so we decided to head to lethbridge and stay the night at Uncle Harvey and Aunty Wendy's. Before we left we took one more look at the Temple all light up, and took some more pictures. Later that night while in lethbridge we hung out with Mitch and Ian, some former missionaries; whom are now our good friends. We all had some laughs and even gave a hamburger to a homeless man. It was really fun! So all in all this weekend turned out to be pretty good. Especially being at the temple, I forgot how much I really love it their. Bryan and I can't wait to go back and actually go inside and do some ordaniances.

The Cute things you do

Yesterday after work there was a nice surprize waiting for me on my car. Work had been just the usuall at the hospital- stressfull. I was walking to my car, as I got closer I saw beautiful pink roses all over my windsheild. At first I thought maybe thats not my car.. but luckily it was. Bryan was parked just across the street and was watching my reaction as I got my surprize. It was wonderful. Sadly I didn't have my camera to take a picture so I have no pictures.

Wisdom Teeth

In the end of August I had to get all Four of my Wisdom Teeth removed because they were all impacted and pushing my other teeth. So I went to a oral surgeon and he decided he would have to put me under for them. The procedure only took all of 20 minutes, but 2 hours for me to wake up. And even then i still wasn't all their. I don't really remember most of when i was all druged up, but my mom tells me i was pretty high. She says i was pawing at the window and saying weird things, so now we know what Shey is like high. haha well the oral surgeon prescribed me some strong meds which also made me sorta high, so for a week straight my head was in the clouds. It was kinda nice since they were drowsy pills so i could fall asleep anytime any place. Anyways when shey is out of it you can dress her up and do whatever with her, and bryan firgured this out. So he thought it would be funny to put all my jewlery, headbands, hair clips and accessories on me and take pictures. So don't laugh at me, it wasn't my fault i was barley even consicious. And of course you can see how swollen my cheeks were, i looked even worse the next day
.

Back to school

This past week Bryan started his first year of Glazier school at Sait. He was really excited to start school, especially since it's going to get cold real soon. He's in school for six weeks for his first year. Then he gets a week break in October, then back to school for another six weeks to finish his second year. So far Bryan is really enjoying school, he has lots of experience so most of his school work is pretty easy. There are a couple new things like blueprint drawings, but he's doing great with that aswell. I think Bryan will enjoy school even more once it starts snowing and he doesn't have to work outside in it :)

A little Bit About Us

Bryan and I met March 4 2006, on our way to see a Hedley Concert with some friends. Our meeting was a little bit of a set up, but also purely coincidence. We began talking on the computer before we went out on our frist date, March 17 2006. After that we just hit it off, and began dating shortly after I turned 18. Not long after became inseperable, who knew it would end up being for Eternity. Over the next couple months we fell in love. We spent our first christmas together (2006) enjoying each other and both our families. Then on February 25 2007, Bryan's 21st birthday, he surprized me with an adorable proposel. I said yes of course!! And now here we are 6ish months later planning our wedding.
I hope you all continue to read our updates, and share with us yours as well.

Love Bryan and Sheyleena
