Legacy's 1st World Tour

Ahhh I got so busy after I started back at work that it's been months since a post, and to top it off I didn't even post pictures from Legacy's first birthday party... especially after all the many hours or work put into planning it. Here are a few photos from the highlights. We are so pleased with how it came together and all our wonderful family and friends for celebrating with us. Legacy had a great time and are excited for many more birthday to plan :)

Cake Smash

Here are some of my favorites... who am I kidding any picture with Lego Man in it is my favorite :)

June 7th

We started Legacy's birthday celebration off with a special bubble balloon bath. He usually loves his baths, but he wasn't too happy about bubbles and balloons replacing his toys in the bath tub. He did LOVE playing with the balloons outside his bath. We mostly played at home all day, Daddy stayed home from work so we spent some family time. Legacy opened a present and as usual had so much fun with the wrapping paper, he got a roller coaster, which when we set it up he loved it. The first couple times when he would go down he would close his eyes... silly boy. For lunch Legacy had his favorite mac n cheese, and for dinner we had broccoli, spaghetti and meatballs. Legacy loves his broccoli, and he made a huge mess with his spaghetti. After dinner we made a big cup cake for him, sang happy birthday, and then let him smash his cake/eat it - what a mess. We hope our little birthday boy had a good birthday, we did.

One Year Later!!

On June 7th Legacy turned ONE years old! This year went by so fast, but defiantly my favorite year yet. It's hard to believe that just a short year ago we were holding Legacy for the first time, and now he's so grown up learning new things every day.
A couple of his tricks are:
 -clapping his hands
-waving hello and goodbye
-sharing his food
-walking 5-6 steps
-climbing onto anything and everything
-opening any cub board and door
-standing by himself
-he can say Mamma, Dadda, Hi, Babe, yah,
-climbing up and down the stairs over and over again
Just recently when I tell him something he seems to understand what I'm saying and if I point and tell him to look he will.
A couple of his favorite things are:
-his blanket, he goes crazy for it
-his soother
-mac n cheese ... this little boy can eat more mac n cheese in one sitting than I can
-broccoli
-any treat mom or dad have he will sit and beg for some
-loves playing with the tupperware
-loves pushing the stools all over the house
-loves any other baby or child
-loves being wrapped up tight in his blanket
-loves cuddling mommy and being held
Legacy is such a smart little boy with such a personality, always on the go.We are so proud to have such a wonderful little boy, and love watching him grow, learn and play. Can't even begin to put into words how much we LOVE this little man. Happy First Birthday Legacy.

Legacy Rock Photoshoot

I needed some pictures for Legacy's birthday invitations, as well as his backstage passes. He was really not cooperating any of the three times I went out to get the perfect shot; but eventually I got it. I can't wait to do another rock star shoot with him when he is a little older and will hold the guitar, along with all the other ideas I have.
