Baby Shower #2

On July 10Th Gabriela and Laurie (my mother in law) threw Legacy and I a baby shower for Bryan's Family. It was really fun, and Legacy got to meet some family he hadn't met yet (Great Auntie Val, Great Auntie Jan, Great Grandma Carlson), and some he already had (Great Grandma Ulrich, Shana & Tish). We played some games, chatted, ate some food (Gabriela made a beautiful teddy bear cake and yummy cupcakes), and open some presents. Thank you Gabriela and Laurie for doing such a great job, it was so nicely decorated and was just great!!
Pictures to come soon.

Update

Here are some pictures of Legacy from the last couple weeks. On July 20 Legacy had his 6 week check up ( Yess time flies.. it's crazy). He was 12.5 lbs, 22.8" and his head circumference was 38 cm. He is getting so big and is really alert and likes to move around, he holds his head up (which was has been doing pretty much since he was born), he is starting to talk some gibberish and make sounds (sooo cute), if he is on his belly he will scootch forward, and he smiles every once in a while. It seems everyday Legacy is even more adorable than the day before - I am so in Love with this little, and I could seriously watch him everyday.

Canada Day

It was Legacy's first Canada Day, so we decided to go to the parade. The parade was the same old same old, but with a super cute baby :) We got some Canada shirts for all of us.. unfortunately I couldn't find any matching ones.

New Deck!

A couple of weekends ago Bryan's dad came out bright and early to help us build our deck, Ranger Lee, and my dad also came over to help as well, and Gabriela came over and watched Legacy for us. The boys started building the deck while I started staining some of the untreated wood ( we had to do half treated and half not since treated only comes in 16ft length and we needed 20ft). After a bit Bryan's mom came out to help stain and so did my mom. Soon the neighbours came over and helped a bit. It was so nice we were getting offers all over the place to help, everyone was so nice. Later on Crystal and the kids came over too and we ordered pizza and visited. Over the next day and next weekend we got our deck all finished off minus the staining which I still have the railings to stain. It took a while to get done since we wanted diagonal floor boards, and totem didn't give us the correct amount of wood. It was a long haul building it.. but it's finally done -

First Bath at Home!!

I actually can't remember which day this was exactly.. but I do know it was a VERY eventful bath. We got the water all ready... and I took off Legacy's diaper and what did he do... he pooped in my hand and shirt while I was bringing him over to the bath. So we cleaned him up, put him in the water and what does he do... PEES...right up and over onto the floor just missing Bryan. He cried just about the whole time.. poor little guy. Once we got him out of the bath into his towel...I'm carrying him over to lotion and diaper him and he poop's again. Yum that was his first bath... which was all on video... it will be good for black mail when he's grown up.

Fathers Day!

Legacy's hand was suppose to go next to his foot print... but do you know how hard it is to get paint on a week and a half old babies hand and then open it.... it's Impossible

This Fathers day was an extra special one, it was Bryan's very first Fathers day! And of course Bryan's dad's first Fathers day being a Grandpa, and my dad's first Father's day being a Grandpa to Legacy.

Bryan is such a good father and Legacy just loves him. I love seeing the two of them together, it makes me so proud to have such a wonderful family.
