Valentines Day

Legacy's Valentine stuffyBack ^^ Front of the scratch off Valentine Legacy gave Bryan ^ Front and Back of Legacy's Valentines he sent outThis valentines day was extra special because it was Legacy's first valentines day, and it was extra special for me getting to have two Valentines! Bryan left me a little message written on the mirror and a really sweet card. Legacy and I left a little jar of candies and a note in Bryan's lunch box for him to find. We made a sign for him and hung it on the back door for Bryan to come home and see. Then for dinner I made pink heart shaped pancakes, bacon, eggs, red juice, with a special heart shaped jello, whip cream, strawberry desert, with chocolate dipped strawberries and chocolate dipped swedish berries. Legacy got to open his gift which was a little music instrument piano and a lion... however he liked the wrapping paper much more. Legacy gave Bryan his special Valentine we made for him and the gifts we got him (two Cd's). We decided Bryana and I would celebrate on the weekend, so Auntie Crystal watched Legacy on Friday while Bryan took me to buy some new high heels and then we went out for dinner. This Valentines Day was great!

First time Swimming

For a long time I've been wanting to take Legacy swimming, but Bryan isn't so much a fan of swimming and we wanted to take him together for his first time. So the first weekend in February we went and Legacy did very well. When we first go in he was a bit scared and cried a bit for two minutes. He liked the lazy river but really clung to me, then we ended our swimming trip with a nice relaxing soak in the hot tub. I've taken him two more times for mom and tot swims and he has done so good. I can tell he is going to like swimming :)

Randomness...

just recently found more "toys" to play withjust playing on his Dino..Legacy LOVES his bathtimeBest way to bring laundry and a baby downstairs/upstairs Kisses for Grandma & Grandpa UlrichSingingI haven't wrote an update on Legacy in a while, but he seems to be learning something new everyday. He is such a busy little boy and seems to be in a hurry to grow up. He started crawling in mid Jan and is SO fast, he can crawl up a couple steps of the stairs (then either he found what he wanted or looses interest). He also pulls himself up on whatever he can grab and walks around it. He LOVES to get into anything he isn't suppose to, loves chasing Saphire (she HATES it). He is so determind with such a personality, but SO much fun to get to watch and play with him each day. He also just cut his 7th tooth the other day and his 8th isn't to far behind. I just can't say it enough but I LOVE this little boy.

New Years

We had a nice relaxing new years, ringing in the new year with family and lots of snacks and movies...(really is there any other way). We went to my parents to hang out with them, Crystal, Easton and Ireland. It was pretty fun, we weren't really planning on staying up till midnight, but we did and had a nice little toast, then went home. As i;m getting older it;s getting harder and harder to stay up late.. maybe it;s the fear or going to bed at 1;00am and Legacy waking up at 3;00am ... or wait that;s not so much fear as it is reality (what a goofy kid, he thinks he needs to eat all the time). Anyways we had a great night to celebrate the best year yet! We welcomed our little man into our family in 2011 and our lives changed immensely and we couldn't be more happy about it. Cant wait to see where or what 2012 has in store for us. Happy New Years!

Christmas

The only family picture we have from Christmas
Opening a present a couple days prior to Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa UlrichHe loves the paper...Uncle Bryce and Auntie Tish with LegacyBryan opening his keyboardLegacy with his gifts from us and SantaAll his Santa presentsLegacy's stocking gifts
I know its now a couple weeks late, but I wanted to post a couple pictures of Legacy's first Christmas. We had a great Christmas and were especially happy to share it with family. Legacy had lots of fun opening his presents and then playing with the bows, wrapping paper and boxes...Eventually he started to get over whelmed with all the gifts (and he sure had allot). I know everyone always says to not buy much for their first Christmas.. but I'm not learning as a parent it is SO hard to not buy them every cool toy you see.
On Christmas Eve we had dinner with Bryan's family and played a fun game. And of course opened our Christmas Eve presents.. which as usual is pajamas. On Christmas morning for some reason Legacy knew Santa had some so he insisted on waking up at 6:00am bright eyed. So we opened presents with our little family. Then headed off to Church for an (excellent program). After church we headed to my family to open gifts, then into Calgary to open gifts with Bryan's family...(yes it was a long day) then back to my parents to have dinner and hang out. The day was definitely busy but well worth it to spend time with our loved ones. We are so grateful for all we have and the time we had to spend with everyone. On boxing day we headed to Bryan's Grandmas to get together with his extended family which was nice to see everyone since it had been a while.
