Bryan's Birthday at Mom & Dad's

As tradition has it we had birthday dinner, cake and presents at Mom and Dads. Not everyone was able to come, but it was still good. For Dinner we had Steak, baby potatoes, asparagus, Cesar salad, buns, and of course Ice Cream cake. Bryan had to hunt for his presents as usual, but he had lots of help from Easton and Ireland. And he had no problem opening the presents with their help.

2010 Olympics

This year was probably the first year I actually watched and enjoyed watching the Olympics. It was nice to see Canada doing good, especially considering our population size compared to some of the other countries.. I think Canada did pretty good. We ended up third in the medal count with a total of 26 medals over all; 14- Golds, 7- Silvers, 5- Bronze's. I'm also proud to say I watched the Final Gold Medal Hockey game.. and bits and pieces of the other ones.. but this was really the only one that mattered. And boy was it nice when we Won!! Go Canada!!

I happened to have my camera out at the time when we scored and I got a shot of the Puck going in the net!

Day 7- Surprising him with his spoiler put on his car. I picked up his car from his brothers house while he was at work and had it put on, so when he got to his brother's house he would have a great surprise. And surprise it sure was.. he had NO idea!!
This was the breakfast I made for him on his Birthday, I had to get up super early to have it ready for him before he headed off to work.. unfortunately he didn't have much time to eat :( I guess next time it'll be 4:30 I'll have to get up not 5:00am.
Day 6- Home made Nanimo Bars!!
Day 5- A new Quicksilver hat!!
Day 4- Root beer Float
What's better than a nice yummy refreshing root beer float in the shower after work!

Day 3- Bryan's favorite dinner - Chicken Enchiladas..
This time I tried a new recipe. . I used onions, chicken, salsa, diced green Chile's, cheese, and some other spices, then rolled it in the tortillas, then spread the sour cream and chicken soup with some more cheese over top.. then baked it! It was really tasty.
Day 2- Car wash money and coupon for me washing his car..
Day 1- New Element Belt

This will be the 3rd annual Birthday week! for Bryan. He turned 24 on the 25th. So to make it special I gave him another Birthday week. I know what most people think.. wow that's great but now he will expect it always. Well... too late.. he already does. But I don't mind, it's fun to do for him. Anyways.. here is what I did for his Birthday week this year!

Gourmet Sunday Dinner

Last Sunday Bryan and I started on dinner.. and then just decided to make it look fancy. I had the idea and then Bryan took it out of my hands and made it all fancy and plated it for us! Some times its just fun making simple things look fancy. All it was, was Lemon Chicken, carrots, salad with balsamic dressing and then our favorite Baby Bel cheese. Dinner was yummy, but making it look fancy was really fun. I already like cooking and baking, but I LOVE cooking and baking with Bryan. We always have so much fun doing it :)
