Surprises'

Saphire's Roses

My flowers!!

I don't know about you guys, but I love a nice surprise from Bryan. This past week Bryan surprised me with some beautiful flowers after work :) It certainly made my day. He even brought Saphire some flowers too.. since she always likes to eat my flowers.. now she has her own.
Thank you husband! I Love You

Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to both our wonderful dads! We love you both and are so lucky have you both for Fathers/ Father-in-laws.
On Fathers Day we had Bryan's family over for dinner, we made the peanut butter chicken.. which was .. different.. not to sure what I thought of it, however it spelled so yummy. And it is always fun trying new recipes. We also made a cake.. a Truck cake. Which was fun,.. would have been allot easier if we froze the cake before cutting it, and then made the icing used for cake decorating. But it turned out pretty cute for an amateur. It almost looks like it should be from the movie cars..

Bowness Park Picnic

Last Saturday we went to bowness park for a picnic. The weather was great, and it actually wasn't super packed at the park. After we ate we had a water fight,.. courtesy of Bryan getting everyone wet and Easton n Ireland squirting everyone with their water guns. It was pretty funny.. Bryan got mom with a cup of water in the back.. but then she got him even better.. pretty sure by the end of the day Bryan was the most wet once everyone turned on him. After we headed over to the splash park for the kids to play...
Although I'm not in any pictures.. I really was there..

Souvenirs

Matching bracelets
New favorite shoes
Necklaces -they have so many to choose from
Hammock - this will be so nice camping
Our new living room decorations - So worth the worry of them breaking -they look perfect!

Our great finds in Mexico.. if I was allowed I would have filled up many more suitcases with souvenirs

Mexico 2010 con't

Funny storey - I kept hoping they would have sopes (not spelled right) and sure enough I see the lady making them, but I didn't see any meat, nor is anyone putting meat on it. But I do see some white powder stuff then a liquid going on it. so I think of maybe its like a desert with icing sugar and syrup.. Nope I'm wrong its just cheese and melted butter.. boy was I surprised when I took a bite
Boogie boarding... the ocean had some huge waves, it was super fun

Waiting to go into our room - it was being cleaned

It was nice them doing an extensive clean everyday.. but also annoying when we were hot and just wanted the A/C room

Chili covered fruit.. you can tell by Bryan's facial expression he wasn't all to pleased with the taste.

I was trying to take pictures with one hand while trying to hold on and not fall off :S

For some reason these pictures didn't upload..

For some reason writing things in the sand is so much fun

This past Saturday June 5Th we took a red eye flight (which we thought would be nice and quiet... boy were we wrong.. the plane was packed with eager vacationers which equalled not much sleep) to Puerto Vallarta. We got to Mexico at about 8:00 am and took a short bus right to a town just outside Puerto Vallarta called Bucerias.. which began our nice relaxing vacation. We spent most our days laying on the beach or by the many pools, and swimming in the ocean and pool. And then of course eating lots.. it was nice their was two buffets open almost all day to late into the night, and when it was closed they conveniently had a snack bar open for a while, as well as a couple bars open all the time for us to enjoy or Pina Coladas, Daiquiris, Mojiotos, and my new favorite Happy Bananas (colda, grenadine, banana syrup, and ice). The resort had 5 restaurants, all of which we tried each night; Brazilian, Mexican, Thai, Italian, and Japanese. - the Thai and Italian were more or less the only great ones. We did one tour - ATVs. It was pretty fun, we were so dirty afterwards, but we survived, Bryan was a little disappointed the pamphlet was a little misleading, we were both thinking it was going to be dangerous and more wild. Thankfully for me it was more mild than wild. We did some walking through the town, eventually finding the shops for some shopping - the people selling things were so hard to ignore and get away from. Some of them just wouldn't get the picture when we said No a million times .. ugh - kinda annoying but expected. However I will say it was very nice everyone on the resort and in the town spoke English very well.
We got to see lots of wildlife without leaving our resort, we saw - a snake on the beach (swam back in the ocean down from our resort), small lizards, tons of iguana's, a frog, birds, and little crabs in sea shells on the beach.
We had a really nice time and the weather was perfect, it wasn't to hot and defiantly and improvement from here !
