One weekend in August Bryan, Legacy, Ranger Lee, Gabriela and I took a day trip to Newell Lake which is just past Brooks (so it was a little ways away). The lake was actually not to bad, would have been nice if we had a boat or seadoos, but it was also fun just playing in the water. Legacy did really well too.. he went in the lake a couple times (just his legs), for the most part he cried but after a while he actually started smiling. We had a really nice time and wouldn't mind going back some day... perhaps when Legacy can really play in the water and sand.
