Peppermint Bark !

This year for the sisters I visit teach I made a bunch of peppermint bark, and then one with sprinkles, M & M's, and pretzels.. both turned out great and were SO yummy. After giving it all away.. i decided that we needed more so that we could eat some, and the plan was to take a bunch of it to our neighbours.. but that didn't seem to happen so we ended up with a bunch left for us.
Anyways . . here is the recipe .. it's so simple and doesn't take long at all.
Peppermint Bark
-melt milk chocolate ( or dark which ever you like better), pour a thin layer or your desired thickness on parchment or wax paper, let set in fridge
-melt white chocolate and pour over the harden chocolate to desired thickness
-crush up candy canes, or peppermint candies.. (you can stir in the powder part into the white chocolate for more minty flavour)
-sprinkle the crushed candies over the chocolate before it hardens, then let set in fridge till hard, and break.
This goes the same for any type of treat you want to add .. just add it on before it sets.. for the pretzels and m&m's I would suggest pushing them into the chocolate so they don't fall off when you break the bark. And of course you don't need to always use the bottom layer of chocolate.
