This Christmas was a bit different than our usual one. But it was very very fun!! We had Christmas at my parents house on Christmas Eve, and celebrated Mexican style. Gabriela shared with us some of her traditions and it turned out really well, and we all had lots of fun. For dinner rather than Turkey, we had orange infused chicken, pork with a yummy sauce, Mexican and Falk family stuffing, 3 types of spaghetti, mashed potatoes, gravy, and yummy deserts Gabriela baked. Dinner was excellent -Thank you Gabriela :) We also had a traditional pinata, which Ranger Lee & Gabriela made - Also turned out excellent. And it was really fun, everyone had a couple turns at swinging at it, and when it finally broke the candy was Everywhere and lots of it broke all over - what a mess. We were going to play some games, but we didn't have time, so we just hung out and opened our presents. We had a really great time :)

On Christmas Day we went to Bryan's parents house in the morning, and opened presents. Then we visited, played some games on the wii while we waited for the traditional Turkey dinner. Dinner was really Delicious and its exactly what I had been craving for so long. Bryan's Grandma, Uncle Bruce, Uncle Jamie and Aunt Beth were there as well to have Christmas dinner. I don't have many pictures :( We had a great time there as well.

Suprise :)

10 Week Ultrasound!!
Eating a popsicle in -30 weather... wouldn't be so bad if the popsicle had stayed down...

Mid November I was so frustrated and tired of throwing up everything I ate or drank so I got some items that I had read can help calm nausea.. We have chamomile tea, ginger root, Popsicles, peppermint tea, sour candies, ginger ale, peppermint mints, and breath mints, and of course crackers... I grew out or over regular soda crackers..

So here is our Big announcement.... We will be welcoming Baby Ulrich into the world in June 2011!!!! I can't even put into words our excitement, and thank fullness for this great blessing. We found out we were pregnant in Mid-October, and we even took a couple HPT to make sure before I went into the dr for another test.. and luckily they all came back positive. I first took a pregnancy test after Bryan left for work cos I knew if I was pregnant I wanted to surprise him, and all day it was so hard to keep my mouth shut.. but I finally did it, I did have this whole extravagant way to tell him planned but he got home from work before me so I didn't have much time. So I bought some baby food and a bib, told him to close his eyes and I put the bib on him and opened some baby food and fed him some... he soon figured it out and was ecstatic. From then on it had been really hard to keep such a big secret. After we found it started to make sense some of the symptoms I was having, especially feeling sick and throwing up. Unfortunately the morning sickness was more ever day sickness, and I was having a hard time keeping anything down.. so after 4 months of sickness I finally got a prescription and am feeling much better. On Nov 18Th we had our 10 week ultrasound- which was pretty much the most amazing thing ever to see our Lil baby, and little it sure was. On Dec 23Th we heard the heartbeat for the first time and boy was that ever special too. We have our next ultrasound booked for Jan 20Th, when we will hopefully with baby's cooperation find out the gender. I can't wait till we know what he/she is so we can pick a name, start painting the bedroom and of course go Shopping! We have however bought our car seat and stroller since it was 50% off.. pictures to follow.
Most of you probably already knew this.. but those of you who didn't ...Suprise :)

November Update

Well this was certainly a very exciting month for our little family :) I can't really recall many things we did this month other than the main headliners.

*On Friday Nov 12, 2010 Bryan and I had the opportunity to go to the Cardston Temple and take out our endowments. It was a really cold day so we don't have any pictures. But I can say it was a very special day, and also very VERY new. I can't really go into details other than how wonderful it felt to be in the Temple. It was also special to have Mom, Ranger Lee and Gabriela their with us - Thanks :). One of my favorite parts was discussing the feeling I felt and some of my thoughts with Bryan on the ride home.

*Of course perhaps the even bigger opportunity we had this month was to be Sealed for Time and All Eternity on November 20, 2010 in the Cardston Temple. Again it was a very very cold day so I don't have many pictures. But Again the spirit warmed our souls. It was really neat and also odd, but very Special that Bryan and I were finally able to be an eternal family. Perhaps this was even a little more special for us at this time - and the reason being I will announce in my next post :)
But I still can't grasp how much my love for Bryan and for the Temple has grown since we got sealed. It was pretty amazing, and I'm so glad we finally had that opportunity. And it's really neat how much you learn at the Temple.. and also how much I still need to learn. Thank you to all that were able to join us and making it that more special, and of course those would weren't able to be there physically but were there in spirit.

Other than those two very speical things I can't recall anything major that we did in November, but it was a great month.
