Meteor !!

On Thursday night Bryan and I were driving to my parents house around 5:30 pm so it was dark already. Then out of no where the sky just light up and then we saw this burst of fire come out of the sky and shoot down ward and then disappear. It looked like it landed just come by. We had no idea at that time what it was so we thought we'd drive to look for it. We couldn't so we left. Right when we got to my parents house my mom asked if we heard about the Meteor that hit just outside Airdrie. We then realized it was a Meteor that we saw. I guess the Meteor didn't really hit just outside Airdrie, because it was seen in Manitoba, Sask., and Southern Alberta. It was pretty cool to see. Here is the link to a video I got off You Tube...

Christmas Tree

On Friday Bryan and I went Christmas Tree and decoration shopping. We went to almost any store in Calgary that sold decorations and tree's... There was so many different trees to choose from, but ever since we got mom her white Christmas Tree i've always wanted one too. I don't know what it is about it, maybe it's because my eyes always focus on the white tree rather than any other artificial tree, but thats what I really wanted. However Bryan on the other hand didn't want a white one.. they now have Black Christmas Tree's (yuck i know) and so of course he wanted that one. But... luckily he gave in and got me the one I really wanted. However Bryan got to choose the colours... so our Christmas colours are Silver, Light Blue, and a Peutter colour. We set up our tree and decorated it the second we got home. It was really fun decorating our own tree. We still have to get a tree topper... and I think I need to wrap some boxes to put under it since it's soo bare. Here are some photos

We're Famous !!

We may not be superstars or anything but our photographer from our wedding (Vitalia) has featured us on some websites. And has included one of our pictures in her advertisement for a wedding magazine she is featured in. The magazine is not out yet but if you go onto the magazine site we are in there too. As well she is entered in a contest for photographers who had to submit three photos and a paragraph on photography .. and one of our photos is one of the ones she sent in. We're really excited about this.. mostly me because I think it's way cool to be in a magazine.. Anyway here are the links to the site's we're one :)

Finally our house is starting to come together .. this weekend we decieded it was time to paint some feature walls. Bryan and I didn't really paint it was more his dad that painted for us. It turned out great. And we love it. The main bathroom isn't done yet.. so it doesn't look as it should. .. it is supposse to be a copper once it's dry...

This week we put up Christmas lights .. we're the second on our block to put them up and it already feels like Christmas. I can't wait to get more Christmas decorations....

New Bedding !

On Saterday we were out getting pot light trims and saw a guy with a sign saying Linins n Things was having a blowout sale. So we went over there and it turns out they are going bankrupt. So everything was on sale... We eneded up finding this bedding set that I loved. We got a really good deal on it. We paid 120ish for a king size 16 peice set. Then we found the curtains to match for cheap to. I'm so excited I love it. And it's our first bedding set together. No more boy bedding for us !! Even though we don't have a king size bed we eventually will. So for now we're not using the sheets, just the pillows and the comforter.. which works out good because we both are bad with sharing blanket so this way it's way huge for our bed, we both get more than enough !

Pot Lights

Once we moved into our house we noticed we were the ONLY house on our block without any pot lights on our porch, leaving it pretty dark. Luckily part of our soffet was done really bad so it needed to be pulled down and re-done. So that gave up a chance to put some pot lights in that area.. then fish some wire down to the rest of the soffet and cut some pot lights in. Thankfully Ranger Lee helped us do this. After we finished adding 6 pot lights we got thinking that we should put 1 more light infront of each pillar.. so thats still in progress. But our house is now the brightest on the block. Here are some pictures...

Last piece of evidence

After Halloween the only thing we couldn't get off on both of us was our one thumbs... I had black fake nails on and I couldn't get the one thumb off for the life of me. And Poor Bryan had black nail polish on.. which was fine.... but we had NO nail Polish remover.. So he was trying to scratch them off. And Saturday morning we had to go to the grocery store.. so this is how we went ..

Halloween

This picture may offend.. but it is soooo funny. Bryce, Bryan's brother went as Paris Hilton for Halloween.. It was really funny

This year we went all out for decorating the house. It was soo much fun. Our yard was a graveyard, with skulls, pumpkins, fog, strobe lights, black lights.. bloody windows.. the whole bit. We knew we wouldnt get to many kids. We had a nice turnout. Everyone loved our decorations so it made it worth it. And Clayton brought the boys by, they looked so cute and liked our house too. Crystal brought Easton and Ireland by and they liked them too.. but mostly liked getting candy. Bryan and I went as Vampires. It was fun dressing up.. putting make up and nail polish on Bryan .. haha .. and I also went and got some contacts.. they had no special cools one. So I got these orangy ones.. After handing out Candy, we went to Bryan's brothers house then went to their neighbours halloween party. Then from there we went to the halloween/ preference dance and met Ranger Lee and Brittany there. It was really fun seeing all the creative costumes. Halloween was really fun this year. Now we need to think of a good creative costume for next year..
