Easter/ My 22nd Birthday

This past weekend was Easter and my birthday!! On Good Friday we had a yummy Turkey dinner with Bryan's family, and hung out with them for the majority of the day. On Saturday (my actual Birthday) we watched some Conference, went out for lunch with some friends, watched some more Conference.. all the while Bryan every so often would surprise me with a birthday presents.. along with sparklers attached to them. Which lit my card on fire a little bit :O
Saturday night Bryan went to Priesthood, so I hung out with Mom, Crystal and the kids.. We also finally died my hair brown, which I had been wanting to do for a Long time! On Sunday we watched some more Conference, then headed off to Mom and Dad's for dinner and to celebrate. Mom made ham, potatoes, veggies, and then some lemon meringue pie rather than cake. For my birthday I got a Diana F+ film camera w/ a bunch of lens' and other fun toys for it, a new camera bag that has lots of room for lens' and my camera's, two necklaces that Mom made (they are both super cute), the Taylor Swift CD I lost, the Justin Bieber Cd's (yupp I sure do like that kid, his songs are just so catchy), a new book to read (The Absent), and the New Moon movie. It was a great Birthday, I sure did get spoiled. On Monday Bryan and I hung out for most the day, then drove around so I could try out my new camera. Then I thought we were settling down for a evening of TV watching, but Bryan had planned a surprise get together with some friends, for me. Thank you everyone for making my Birthday wonderful!

Saphire!

1st Day we got her (April 2, 2009)

As of April 2, we have had Saphire for a year. She has gotten so big in the last year and so much personality. Her favorite things to do include - laying/sleeping in the sun, playing with toy spiders and random small things she finds on the floor, sleeping in the entertainment centre, sleeping in her shoe box, attacking our feet, drinking fridge water with crushed ice, laying/sleeping anywhere, more sleeping and sleeping some more. She's a funny cat and I'm glad that we have her, however I wish she was still as little as when we got her. She was only 1/2 lbs when we got her and now I'd say she is around 15 lbs or so...

French Toast

Well as you can see I have been slacking.. allot. It's been a fairly busy month so I haven't had much time to post anything, here a some photos of what we've been up to. The month started out with Crystals Birthday, and ended with Dad's birthday. Unfortunately I forgot my camera when we celebrated Dad's birthday, so I'll have to get the photos from Mom. This month we also had the missionaries over a couple times and one of the times I made fruit pizza. And it looked really good so I took some pics of it. Right now our stake President and all the Stake's in Calgary have a challenge to have a new stake in Calgary by the time the Temple is built. So of course the missionaries have special challenges for the members to have someone to teach. And they start with little challenges like giving out a pass along card etc. We haven't gotten the big "7 Day" Challenge yet.. but I know it's coming. And it makes me nervous. But already there has been lots of success.

This month we also sold the old bucket truck, so I took some photos of it before they guy came to pick it up. This may not seem like a huge deal, but if you only knew about this truck and the head ache it's been you would be happy it is finally out of our hands.

Sleep Over!!

Last week Easton & Ireland came over for the day to play. We went to the park to play, played with some toys, and made Easter Eggs! They both had lots of fun making/dipping the easter eggs... Ireland had a hard time getting the hang of making the different colors.. she just kept dipping it in the same one over and over. Irelands new favorite thing to do at my house is get out ALL my high heels, line them up and try them all on. It was cute seeing her try to decided which ones she liked best and wanted to wear. It was fun having them over and sleep over too!
