Flowers

After work I came home to some beautiful flowers in a really cute vase... which was from a "secret admire" .. a.k.a my mom. Than later that day the door bell rang and it was a delivery guy with a long box with a bow on it. And guess what was inside.. A dozen pink roses. They were really pretty. So now our house has flowers all over the place. Here are a couple of pictures... I must say I love my birthday and getting flowers :) :) Thanks Bryan and mom !!
Later that day Bryan and I went out for dinner, then came home to Saphire. It was really hard to leave her at home, I really wanted to bring her to dinner... but I think that most people wouldn't be too impressed.

  For the longest time Bryan has always said that I can never have a kitten.. then a week or so ago he started looking online for free kittens, and then said that we could get a kitten if it was free. Well we couldn't find any free baby kittens so I figured we'd just have to keep looking. But on Thursday we found some really cute free ones on Kijiji. So we went to go see them, and ended up bringing one home. She is 5 weeks old today, and only weights 1 lb. She has bright blue eyes, her fur is all black with white under her chin, on her tummy, and on her paws. She also has 6 digits on two of her paws. She is SO sweet and loves to cuddle and play. I'm SO happy Bryan let me get a kitty, and it was a great birthday/non birthday surprise. Here's a couple of pictures of her.. she has already grown alot in the two days we've had her.. but hopefully she'll still be little for a while longer. Her name is Saphire Rayne.. which took us forever to come up with.. I never thought it would be so hard to name a kitten.

Saturday we all went over to my parents house to celebrate dad's Birthday. We had dinner, dad searched for his presents , then we had cake and just hung out. It was really nice, with very little DRAMA. It was really funny watching dad search for his presents, because all the kids wanted to help so they all searched too.. and then started opening them too. Here are a couple pictures...

End Tables & Coffee Table!!!

Finally after lots of waiting we bought some tables for our living room, we kept putting off buying them cos we didn't want to spend lots of money for the ones we like. But a couple weekends ago we were out looking and we had looked in a couple stores but couldn't find any. Our last stop was the crossroads, and we always see some things we like but its always over the top. So we were just about to leave when I saw them. And I loved them. They were a pretty good price so we got them. Well they're here now.. here are a couple pictures.. now we just need some lamps and a centre piece and our living room will be complete.

New wall art

We wanted to buy a bunch of cool mirrors we had saw at Wal-Mart, but when we went to buy them they weren't there. So instead we bought a bunch of picture frames, and Bryan took them to school and put mirrors in them. They look really nice, we hung them on the wall down by our bathroom.

Date Night Surprise

Thursday after work I came home to a wonderful surprise. Bryan had set up a date night for me ! We just stayed in town and went to dinner at Boston Pizza, then came home and watched "Changeling" . It was really good and it was a great date night. I loved my surprise. Thanks Bryan !!
